Meet Afi Sika Kuzeawu

Afi Sika Kuzeawu is a psychologist, lecturer, coach, and artist who has been accompanying people for many years on their path to greater clarity, connection, and inner grounding. In her work, she weaves together sensitive psychological understanding with music, movement, play, and community formats in which people can meet themselves and others in a new, truthful way.

She brings a solid background in psychology, complemented by further training in coaching, embodiment approaches, and creative and somatic methods. This is enriched by her long-standing experience as a singer, performer, and facilitator of movement- and body-based group offerings.

In her work, Afi Sika supports people in finding their way from complex inner and outer worlds into an embodied, regenerative life that truly fits them, whether in one-to-one coaching, workshops, ritual formats, or warm community spaces such as the "So, Sou, Soulful Sunday!" interactive brunch.

Through her own daily practice, artistic creation, and consistent inner work, Afi Sika embodies the qualities she offers: presence, depth, playful aliveness, and a clear, loving stance. With gentle determination, an incredible intuition, and deep appreciation, she goes directly to the themes beneath the surface and accompanies the journey back to connection, dignity, and one’s own unique expression.

Some personal history

Afi Sika’s love for inner exploration and creative expression did not begin on a stage, but in an office. She was working as an analyst in a company, moving through what looked like a “successful life” from the outside, while inside she was struggling with heavy negative thoughts and a deep sense of emptiness. In her search for relief, she tried many different methods – journaling, meditation, and other practices – not knowing that they would open a completely new path.

One evening, after work and a meditation that had become essential just to stay emotionally afloat, she stepped under the shower. There, something unexpected happened: the inspiration for her first song rushed through her like electricity through a cable. She stood in awe, water running over her body, listening to this melody and words arriving from somewhere beyond her usual thinking. Quietly, almost on tiptoe, she went to her computer and recorded it in GarageBand, trying not to “break the spell”. It was one of the most intimate moments of connection she had ever experienced – a doorway to the realisation: I am an artist

This awakening did not come in a time of ease, but in a period of adversity that pushed her into states of deep mindfulness simply to survive mentally. From there, Afi Sika made a series of courageous choices: she left the safe job, studied at the University of Arts, lived through long stretches of financial insecurity, short-term jobs, and disappointments – and yet kept following the inner thread of music, authenticity, and service. Along the way, people appeared who supported her at crucial moments, and each step strengthened her trust that life was asking her to offer something unique.

Over the years, she understood that her path was not only about performing or teaching, but about helping others navigate their own thresholds: improving their personal lives, finding meaning, setting and living aligned goals, and transforming despair into a sense of inner home. Her mother, who once saw her as “only looking out for herself”, later recognised that what truly moves her is a desire to “bring people to the light so they can be happy”. This acknowledgment touched Afi Sika deeply, because it reflected what had quietly guided her since childhood.
